Saudi foreign minister says Qatar boycott will remain in place

In a row of diplomatic crisis between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, the foreign minister of Saudi Arab Adel al-Jubeir said on Wednesday that a boycott of Qatar will continue in place after the Gulf emirate rejected conditions to end a diplomatic crisis.

During the press conference in Cairo after the meeting with his counterparts from Egypt, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates over the crisis, he said “The boycott will remain,”

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Bahrain have cut diplomatic and transport ties with Qatar, which they accuse of supporting terrorism and allying with regional foe Iran.
