130 soldiers killed in Fallujah: Iraq

Iraqi flocks killed in the counter attack with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in Fallujah city of Iraq. The counter attack has been going since last week. According to the report that says, series of attacks by ISIS, in which, at-least 130 Iraqi soldiers have been killed as thousands remain trapped between fighters and advancing army.

The first blast was taken place on Wednesday by the 10 suicide bomber of ISIS hit the town of Kubaisah city of Al-Anbar province.  After that they attacked an army convoy to the south of Fallujah at Amiriyat al-Fallujah with roadside bombs. According to the Al-Jazeera report.

With the aim recapturing the Fallujah City, which lies just 50km west of Baghdad, the Iraqi army launched an operation against ISIS, before a week, with the support of air power of US but has been incapable to reach the city Centre.

The commander of the Fallujah operation, lieutenant Genral Abdelwahab al-saadi, said, that “the Iraqi army had slowed its advance, it was still at the fingers of Fallujah”.

He added, “We are in Naimiyah district and operation are ongoing, and the advance troops towards the centre of Fallujah is continuing too”. According to the Al-Jazeera report.
